Physical gift cards

  • Physical gift cards can be purchased and redeemed in-store only at R.M.Williams owned retail stores in Australia.
  • Physical gift cards can be redeemed at any R.M.Williams outlet stores.
  • Physical gift cards cannot be redeemed at any R.M.Williams clearance or concession stores.
  • Physical gift cards can only be redeemed in the market where they were purchased e.g. If purchased in Australia in AUD, it can only be redeemed in Australia.
  • Physical gift cards purchased in Australia will expire 36 months from purchase.
  • Physical gift cards can be redeemed by presenting the card in store.
  • The physical gift cards is partially redeemable, and it is up to the cardholder to use the full value within the validity period. Not redeemable for cash.
  • If the full balance is not spent in one transaction, the remaining balance will remain on the physical gift card.
  • Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited when the card expires.
  • Treat your physical gift card as cash. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or refunded.
  • Physical gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for a card refund or cash.
  • All returned items that were paid for with a physical gift card will be refunded as a new gift card for you to use against a future purchase.
  • If you return an item paid by both physical gift card and credit card, you will be refunded on your credit card up to the amount of your initial card payment and the remaining amount will be refunded as a new gift card.


Digital gift cards

  • Digital gift cards can be purchased online and redeemed at rmwilliams.com.au and in R.M.Williams owned retail stores in Australia.
  • Digital gift cards can be redeemed at any R.M.Williams outlet stores.
  • Digital gift cards cannot be redeemed at any R.M.Williams clearance or concession stores, eg Myer.
  • Digital gift cards can only be redeemed in the market where they were purchased, eg If purchased in Australia in AUD, it can only be redeemed in Australia.
  • Digital gift cards purchased in Australia will expire 36 months from purchase.
  • Digital gift cards can be redeemed online by entering the ‘digital voucher code’ in the Payment section in the checkout, OR in store by presenting the digital gift card email (on screen or print out).

Click and collect

Click and collect orders are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • Upon submitting your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. Within 24 hours you will receive a 'ready for collection e-mail' containing the details of your order and collection instructions.
  • Click and collect is available in selected stores.
  • Please ensure the accuracy of your contact information and collection details to facilitate a smooth pickup process.
  • R.M.Williams will make reasonable efforts to have your order prepared for collection on time; however, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause delays. R.M.Williams will notify you promptly in such cases.
  • Click and collect orders must be collected within 7 days. R.M.Williams will send you a reminder at 14 days. If the order is not collected within 30 days, we will issue a refund and return the goods to the store floor/warehouse at our discretion.
  • When collecting your order, please bring a copy of the order confirmation (printed or digital).
  • If you wish to cancel your click and collect order, please contact the R.M.Williams customer service team as soon as possible. R.M.Williams will accommodate your request to the best of its ability, subject to the order's status and any applicable terms.
  • R.M.Williams reserves the right to cancel your click and collect order. You will be promptly notified, and any payment made will be refunded in accordance with our refund policy. 
  • While R.M.Williams strives to maintain accurate inventory information, there may be instances where the requested item(s) become unavailable after your order is placed. In such cases, R.M.Williams will notify you as soon as possible and provide a refund.
  • R.M.Williams collects and processes your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. By using our click and collect service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as outlined in our privacy policy.
  • R.M.Williams shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the use of our click and collect service, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other relevant legislation.
  • R.M.Williams reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Boot repair conditions

  • This service is only available in Australia.
  • R.M.Williams boots are constructed in such a manner that under normal wear and tear they can be repaired several times in their lifetime. But like any good product, if not properly cared for, irreparable and often unseen damage can occur which is not evident until the boots are stripped down for repair.
  • During the stripping process it may be discovered that additional work is required to enable the original repair request to be carried out. If this is found to be the case, appropriate costs may be applied. R.M.Williams Pty. Ltd. accept these boots for repair under the condition that no responsibility will be taken where the boots are found after stripping to be incapable of repair. If this occurs your boots will be returned to you in the stripped state, and a full refund will be applied. You have 2 months (60 days) after purchase to return your boots to the R.M. Williams boot room for repairs to be made otherwise the purchase is void. To R.M.Williams Pty Ltd, I have read the above conditions under which you accept my boot for repair, upon payment of this repair product you agree to be bound by the above conditions.
  • THANK YOU for trusting us with the repairs to your R.M.Williams boots. In doing so you have availed yourself of the skills practised by the craftsmen and women in our boot factory and the quality of the materials we use in the making of all new boots. The success of the repairs carried out on your boots will depend as it always does, whether they are new or old boots, on the care and maintenance you continue to give them. 

Made on Demand

Upon purchasing Made On Demand boots, you are agreeing to the below:

  • Your Made On Demand boot will be shipped in 6 - 8 weeks for special order items. Special order items will not be delivered in time for Christmas.
  • R.M.Williams reserves the right to amend the delivery time as deemed necessary.
  • Due to the individual nature of your purchase, once your Made On Demand boot order has been placed, cancellations or amendments cannot be accepted.
  • R.M.Williams is unable to accept returns or exchanges of Made On Demand purchases except where the item is damaged or faulty or delivered incorrectly through and error by R.M.Williams.
  • Leather colours and materials may vary.
  • R.M.Williams cannot accept responsibility for any variations in colour, shade and texture and cannot accept returns on this basis.

Aftership

  • We use Aftership to provide tracking information for your orders. 
  • By placing an order with us, you consent to the use of Aftership's services to track your shipment. 
  • The use of Aftership is governed by their own terms and conditions. By placing an order, you agree to comply with Aftership's terms and conditions, which can be found here. 
  • Your personal information and tracking information will be shared with Aftership to facilitate shipment tracking. 
  • Aftership's privacy policy will apply to the handling of your personal information, and you can review it here.  
  • By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that we will share your relevant order and personal information with Aftership for the purpose of providing tracking updates. 

Afterpay

  • Order value limits apply for first time Afterpay users, determined by Afterpay at the time of transaction. 
  • The funds for the first payment will need to be available at the time of checkout. If you are a new Afterpay customer, the first payment will be made at the time of purchase, with payments over the next 6 weeks. Once you have been an Afterpay customer for at least 6 weeks for all orders under $500, your first payment is made in 14 days, with final payment in 8 weeks.
  • Your payment schedule will be emailed to you.
  • The standard R.M.Williams return policy applies for all orders made with Afterpay.

RE•MADE boots terms of purchase

  • Whilst all care has been taken to restore our RE•MADE boots to the highest standard, please note they have had previous wear and minor imperfections may remain. 
  • We will use reasonable endeavours to ship your RE•MADE boots within 3 – 5 business days of purchase, however please note there may be a delay in delivery time.
  • Due to the individual nature of your purchase, once your RE•MADE boot order has been placed and confirmed, cancellations or amendments cannot be accepted.
  • Due to the limited quantities available for each boot in the RE•MADE collection, oversell of an individual product may occur. In the instance that your order is affected by this issue and we are unable to process your order, R.M.Williams will make contact as soon as possible via the email address supplied in your order. 

RE•MADE return and exchange policy

  • All items presented for a return or exchange must meet the following requirements:
  • RE•MADE boots should be returned unworn with all the original tags attached, in their original and undamaged box and packaging. Due to the pre-worn nature of RE•MADE boots, wear will be indicated by marks or scuffs to the sole. 
  • Returns for RE•MADE boots must be actioned within 14 days of receipt of the product.
  • If returning by post, please ensure to pack the item(s) securely to avoid damage   during shipment.

Complimentary boot polishing

Complimentary boot polishing is offered in all R.M.Williams stores, subject to these terms and conditions. Complimentary boot polishing is available for R.M.Williams boots only. This service is offered at the discretion of the store manager, pending availability of the designated team members at each location. This service may be subject to delays and/or waiting periods as our teams work to manage demand. If a store team are unable to fulfil a polishing request on the date or time requested, they may be able to rearrange this service for another date or time, at the discretion of the store manager. R.M.Williams reserves the right to deny this service at any time, without prior warning.

Appointment booking

Private boot fitting appointments are offered at the discretion of R.M.Williams. Private boot fitting appointments are complimentary and offered on a first come, first served basis via the R.M.Williams website. Customers are advised that appointments cannot be guaranteed outside of the scope of the dates, times and locations offered in the online booking form. All required fields in the online booking form must be completed in order to process the booking request. A confirmation email will be sent to the provided email once the appointment is confirmed, and a subsequent reminder email will be sent to the same email address in the week prior to the appointment date. If, at any time proceeding the private booking appointment, a customer needs to cancel or amend their appointment, we request that they contact R.M.Williams Customer Service or the store at which the appointment has been made.


A maximum of four people may be fitted for boots in any 30 minute booking slot. 60 minute booking slots are available for parties of 5-8 people. 


Purchases made at private shopping appointments are not limited to footwear but may be subject to stock availability. Pending stock or sizing availability, store managers may be able to place orders for any out of stock items on the customers behalf, with complimentary delivery to the customer’s designated address. Customers should allow an eight week delivery period from time of ordering any Made On Demand or out of stock leather boots, to ensure delivery in time for their intended wear date. 

Student Beans discount

  • R.M.Williams 10% online student discount (the “discount”) is available to students who hold an account with Student Beans https://www.studentbeans.com/uk and who are currently studying in the AU, NZ, UK, US and Canada.
  • The Discount is valid only on full price items at www.rmwilliams.com.au or www.rmwilliams.com (excluding exotics leather products crocodile and ostrich items) and can only be redeemed online and not in R.M.Williams outlet stores or department store concessions.
  • Discount codes can be generated and are subject to availability in your region.
  • Discount codes will be valid for redemption up until 18 September 2024 following which time they will expire and can no longer be redeemed. 
  • To redeem the discount online, you must follow the instructions to generate your unique Student Beans discount code which can then be redeemed at the R.M.Williams online checkout.
  • Each code is unique and can only be used once. Only one code may be used per transaction.
  • Items may only be returned in line with R.M.Williams returns policy and will only be refunded at the discounted price paid. This does not affect any rights you may have under consumer law
  • Discount is only available to verified Student Beans members. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other staff discount, voucher or other promotion. The discount may not be used in respect of delivery charges, gift cards, outlet & Sale items.
  • The discount is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be given. Should anyone other than an eligible account holder attempt to use a Student Beans code to obtain a discount, the code will be void and the discount will be withdrawn without notice.
  • The discount code may not be sold (including without limitation on any auction site) whether for profit or otherwise, or reproduced on any website. Such activity will render the code and the discount void.
  • R.M.Williams reserves the right to withdraw or amend the discount in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control or if it considers necessary to do so at R.M.Williams absolute discretion. In the event R.M Williams withdraws the discount the codes will no longer be available for redemption.

Thread Together donations

  • By making a donation, you agree that R.M.Williams will collect your donation at the time of your payment for your Order, with all donations provided to Thread Together.
  • You will not receive a tax invoice for your donation. 
  • Your donation is not part of your Order with the Retailer. This means that if you return any part of your Order to the Retailer you will not be refunded the donation as part of any refund or partial refund you receive.

Worn by you

By submitting your photographs to R.M.Williams, you release them for use in any marketing capacity on channels owned by R.M.Williams. By submitting your photographs to R.M.Williams, you are also adhering with your photographer’s usage agreements and not breaching any conditions set out by them and/or provided us with any relevant credit information. R.M.Williams will not be liable for any claims or incidental, consequential, or other damages arising out of the use of the photographs.

APOD members offer

  • APOD members save 15% on R.M.Williams footwear, clothing & accessories in accordance with the APOD members policy.
  • Offer available for purchase made through APOD members portal or the APOD App.
  • Discount cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other offers, sales, and gift cards.

Apple Pay

  • Apple Pay is accepted as a payment method on www.rmwilliams.com.au, www.rmwilliams.com and www.rmwilliams.com/uk/.
  • Apple Pay will only appear as a payment method on devices that support Apple Pay.
  • You can pay with Apple Pay using a Visa, MasterCard or American Express card.
  • Apple Pay can’t be used in conjunction with gift cards.
  • Apple Pay can’t be used for split payments.

PayPal Pay in 4

  • Available in checkout for all PayPal approved customers.
  • PayPal Pay in 4 allows you to pay for your purchase in 4 interest-free instalments.

Zip Pay

  • Available in checkout for all Zip approved customers. 
  • Zip Pay is an interest-free buy-now-pay-later service with a credit limit of up to $1000.  
  • Repayments are based on a minimum monthly payment from $10 per week.  
  • A monthly account fee of $9.95 applies and is subject to change. Zip will waive the fee if you pay your statement closing balance in full, by the due date. Available to approved applicants only and subject to completion of satisfactory credit check. Other charges may be payable.  
  • Repayments are automatically direct debited from the payment method that is added when creating a Zip account. 
  • You can change the payment method at any time and the frequency of your payments to weekly, fortnightly or monthly as long as you're covering the minimum monthly repayments.  
  • One late payment fee is $5.00. A customer will be charged an additional late fee where they have caught up on all repayments and then miss another repayment at a later date. 
  • Zip may carry out a credit check when you apply.

Klarna

  • Available in checkout for all Klarna approved customers. 
  • Klarna Pay in 4 allows you to pay for your purchase in 4 interest-free instalments. 
  • Your first instalment is due at the time you make your purchase. The next 3 instalments are due every 14 days after your first instalment. 
  • There are no interest charges with Klarna Pay in 4 instalments, and no fees when you follow your automatic payment schedule.  
  • If you are delayed in making a payment, Klarna may charge you a late fee. Any missed instalments, including any added late fees, will be rolled over to the next scheduled due date.

  • R.M.Williams OUTBACK is a bi-monthly magazine (6 issues a year). R.M.Williams Publishing Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend publication frequencies, prices and schedules at any time. 

Outback Subscription dispatch and delivery policy

  • OUTBACK magazines purchased as a subscription are delivered on a bi-monthly basis (once every two months) to your nominated address, according to publication scheduling and the length of your subscription. Items damaged or missing during delivery will be replaced at the discretion of R.M.Williams Publishing Pty Ltd.
  • OUTBACK magazine subscription will commence with the next issue published.

Outback Subscription refund policy

  • Please contact the OUTBACK magazine Customer Service team on (02) 9028 5428 to request a cancellation of a subscription. Refunds are in accordance with Australian consumer law and at the discretion of R.M.Williams Publishing Pty Ltd.
