“Write about your foot trouble - we are experts”

Below is the first recorded catalogue, it's from 1935. A simple edition with an ambitious message “If you have a high instep foot, and have to get a boot too long for you, for the sake of comfort, let me know what size fits your instep and what length exactly your foot is. We have put hundreds of customers into shorter, more comfortable boots, with high instep. Write about your foot trouble - we are experts. ”

This begins RM's desire to craft boots that fit properly and are of the utmost quality. This mantra drove his business and made it the success it was and is today.
