Our junior sizes are based on UK footwear sizing, with ages as an indicator. For the best fit, we recommend measuring your child's foot by length.
Follow these easy steps to get the right size for your child. For the best fit, have them wear the socks they would usually wear with their boots.
Step 1 Place your child's foot on a piece of paper. Mark the points at the back of the heel and the tip of their big toe.
Step 2 Use a tape measure to measure the length in-between. This will give you their foot length. Repeat the same for the other foot.
Step 3 Match the length measurements of the larger foot against our size chart. If they are in-between two sizes, choose the larger one.
Key Features
Yearling boot
Handcrafted in Australia
Handcrafted by our skilled craftspeople at our iconic Adelaide workshop, this boot was made using one piece of leather with over 80 time-honoured techniques and processes.
Goodyear welt
The Goodyear welt has been used by bootmakers since 1862 due to its enduring strength and ability to be re-soled, allowing you to enjoy your boots for years to come.
Comfort rubber sole
Our comfort rubber sole combines the durability of our classic rubber sole with additional cushioning technology built into the insole, providing you with all-day support.
"The Yearling is one of our archival heroes and has since inspired a range of boots with the same elegant shape. It's a cult favourite with collectors of the brand, partly for its distinctive, confident look and partly as it remains so close to RM's original ridingboot designs."
Rachel Allen, Chief Design & Product Officer

RM believed there was only one thing more comfortable than a new R.M.Williams boot. And that’s an old R.M.Williams boot, one that has become a trusted friend, that has shaped itself exactly to the eccentricities of you foot.
For this reason, we recommend paying close attention to the condition of your boots and taking them to a quality cobbler for repairs, as soon as an damage begins to show.
